Markus Thomas Theodor Söder (born 5 January 1967) is a German politician serving as Minister-President of Bavaria since 2018 and Leader of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU) since 2019.
The 2023 Bavarian state election will probably be held on 8 October 2023 to elect the 180 members of the 19th Landtag of Bavaria. The current government is a coalition of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU) and the Free Voters of Bavaria (FW).
I will resolve YES if this official website reports that Markus Söder is Minister-President on January 1st, 2024. According to the website, if somebody else is Minister-President, I will resolve NO. https://www.bayern.de/staatsregierung/ministerpraesident/
