Now that we've figured out https://manifold.markets/Austin/will-manifold-implement-uniswap-v3 is the right way to go, I think that will allow us to do limit orders correctly.
Even in the 20% case we don't do Uv3, we're still pretty interested in allowing our large traders to provide liquidity via centralized limit order book.
I feel like limit orders are too complicated right now and not even so valuable to me as a user. I just want to see whenever the market deviates from my true probability. And when that happens I want to review/reassess -- I don't really want that automated. Get people to keep coming back and reengaging and fighting over the price. It's fun and naturally adds liquidity.
But also a simple way to add liquidity / subsidize a market would be amazing. Support the use case of "gosh, I have no idea what the right probability is but I'm happy to contribute to finding out!"
