We've already changed our name once from Mantic Markets.

There haven't really been any internal discussion of changing it as of making this market. So it isn't something we are currently intending to do.

I think it's fine right now, manifold is somewhat a common name, but it should be okay as you gain in popularity

The issue in the tweet is more about discoverability of the documentation than the name itself, i feel

I've also had that issue, but I can't imagine changing your name three times in a year helps your SEO either.

I definitely like dropping "Markets" - or rebranding such that Manifold Markets are just one thing, and we also have Manifold Tournaments, Manifold Wiki, etc

@Austin If you drop "market", it'll make the issue in the tweet even more prominent

@Austin I think this move works best for established brands. Starbucks Coffee was already a household name when it rebranded to Starbucks.

@Austin nooo way to just dropping "Markets". @joy_void_joy is absolutely right; I have no trouble finding "Manifold Markets" but I will not be able to google "Manifold" to find this site, AND less importantly for your business but just as important in my heart, I think it's fun and cute and kinda poetic that the current name is also a self-descriptor.
