Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve YES if the S&P 500 index (representing American stocks) has a higher percentage return than the STOXX Europe 600 index (representing European stocks) for the calendar year 2025 (January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025). Returns will be measured in USD terms to account for currency fluctuations.
The calculation will use the following formula:
S&P 500 return = (Closing price Dec 31, 2025 - Opening price Jan 1, 2025) / Opening price Jan 1, 2025
STOXX Europe 600 return = (Closing price Dec 31, 2025 - Opening price Jan 1, 2025) / Opening price Jan 1, 2025
The market will resolve NO if European stocks outperform or if returns are exactly equal.
