The Christmas presents are in checked luggage on a cancelled Southwest flight in the US today. Southwest cancelled something like 70% of their flights, and as a result airports are flooded with random orphaned baggage. They have not told us anything about where our luggage is or how to get it, but they did say that we should expect it will eventually arrive at its original destination airport. We are willing to drive to the destination airport to look for the luggage if we get word that it might be there.
