This is a derivative market of When will Trump Serve Time and How will Trump Serve Time.
What counts?
Prison, jail or house arrest pre-conviction does not, must be serving a sentence.
Prison, jail or house arrest post-conviction counts.
Community service, probation, and other non-custodial sentences do not count.
It does not count if he is pardoned or otherwise granted clemency before his imprisonment.
Where the original market resolves on when (if ever) Trump will serve a sentence and the second market resolves on what kind of custody he will be placed in first, this market resolves on whether Trump will serve a sentence in multiple ways listed above.
For example, he could initially be sentenced to house arrest but violate the terms of his custody and be sentenced to prison. Or he could be sentenced to prison, but later be sentenced to house arrest after good behavior.
This is a good point, I wouldn't resolve this on any gotcha-s like that and I don't think @MartinRandall would either.
This is about what he's actually sentenced to. So if he's sentenced to prison, but he has to spend a night in jail while they get prison ready for him then I don't think that counts for Martin's market or this one.
