Title says “of the 2024 season” which has a clear meaning, and relevant wikipedia articles. The “season” is May 15 (in the Pacific) and June 1 (in the Atlantic), with both ending on Nov 30th.

There has been 1 hurricane so far in each system in this time period: Beryl became a hurricane on June 29th in the Atlantic, Carlotta became a hurricane on July 31st.

This market should be Resolvable now.

Per above
Beryl https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2024/al02/al022024.public.005.shtml?
Hurricane Beryl Advisory Number 5 NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL AL022024 500 PM AST Sat Jun 29 2024 ...BERYL IS NOW A HURRICANE

Carlotte July31st https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/archive/2024/CARLOTTA.shtml?

this should be done right?

@JamesF Is this assuming something only after June 1 North Atlantic hurricane season? Typhoons can happen at any time of the year in the Pacific

bought Ṁ10 YES

Aren’t they typhoons in the Pacific?

@BTE They are but there isn’t a real difference between them.

@JamesF If you are saying no difference then Hidaya formed 2 May in the Indian Ocean. Also Intense Tropical Cyclone Anggrek 25 Jan 2024 and a few others there, so answer is neither? ;)

@BTE
Pacific hurricanes can form in Central or Eastern Pacific.

Guess James' answer means Typhoons in Western Pacific or any equivalent system anywhere in Pacific count but Indian Ocean does not count.
