Here is the market in question: https://manifold.markets/J/in-2030-will-wikipedias-article-on

This market resolves to YES if the Manifold team takes any action against the market linked above, including but not limited to: delisting it, deleting it, banning its creator, or forcing its creator to change the title or description.

If no action has been taken against it by the end of the year, this market resolves to NO.

I think it is actually a good question that I might have written myself (though I would have omitted the "falsely")

The link leads to the wrong page, in a way which creates the impression that moderator deletion has already occurred. But poking around a bit, it looks like the market is not deleted. So you're paying the costs of having deleted it, without actually getting the controversy-avoidance benefit. @JamesGrugett

@JamesBabcock Are you sure? I just tried the link and it works for me.

Very strange--clicking on the link in the description, I get inconsistent behavior, where most of the time it instead opens https://manifold.markets/IsaacKing/will-we-have-a-clear-policy-by-the, but sometimes (unclear what the difference is) it opens the correct page instead.

@JamesBabcock That's just a bug with the links haha. cc: @Sinclair

Huh, weird. I tried clicking the link around 10 times and was able to get 4 different results:

  • The correct market opens.

  • The incorrect market opens.

  • The correct market and the incorrect market both open, in separate tabs.

  • The correct market opens twice, in two different tabs.

Adds a bit of mystery to navigating the site. I like it. ;)

@IsaacKing Weird. I consistently gets the third option.

@IsaacKing The links should be fixed now!

By our policy just posted, it would be at most unlisted. If we end up deleting it, I will consider that a personal failing. Manifold must be pluralistic.

I made another derived market:

I would not be at all that surprised if they delist it at least. Seems like a fairly small step.
