Resolves YES if any vintage-legal new card is printed that references the "banding" keyword in its rules text. Reprints of existing cards don't count.

Gut reaction was "they totally won't, it's a 10 on the storm scale!", but given the amount of supplemental sets they produce these days, it'll probably appear in Secret Lair: Alchemy Horizons 3 or whatever.

@Conflux So was phasing wasn't it?

@Conflux Ugh. I wanted to say it's a sure bet they won't but yeah, maybe they'll revive it for a literal Voltron set or something. I hate having to deal with these things in casual formats now.

@IsaacKing: Well, phasing is an interesting case. They haven't printed any new cards with phasing. What they have printed is a bunch of new cards that can phase things out as a one-off. So would the equivalent case here count? Say a sorcery that says "Choose any number of target creatures. The next time those creatures attack this turn, they attack as a band." Would you say that "references the banding keyword"?

@AlexChurchill Yes, that counts.

@AlexChurchill Also, by any chance are you the Alex Churchill who wrote this paper?

@IsaacKing Haha! Yes, that's me :)

@AlexChurchill Nice to meet you! I loved the paper.
