Resolves on vibes. Position on Israel will be a crucial consideration, as will the question of whether they're comfortable openly supporting racism and antisemitism. This is about the beliefs of high-level politicians and proposed policies, not what their staffers are posting on Twitter.
Update 2025-11-12 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Conspiracy theories (both Jewish and non-Jewish) being promoted by high-level GOP figures will be considered as evidence toward groyper influence. Example: Elon Musk posting about George Soros.

@IsaacKing Ok I read it now but I'm still not convinced. The author doesn't give any evidence that these groypers actually caused the shift in Republican politics. The real reason why anti-immigration sentiment has grown is probably because... there's more immigration now. The desire to have a white-majority country isn't anything new; they just didn't need to make a fuss about it before because it wasn't under threat.
As for young Republicans having less support for Israel, again the author doesn't prove that Nick Fuentes is responsible for this. The real reasons for this would probably be the same reasons why young Democrats don't support Israel. I'm not sure what those reasons are, but it's probably one of
a) the memory of the Holocaust has cooled over time, and so young people are less fervent about protecting Jews and thus less likely to automatically support Israel,
or
b) old people get their news from legacy media, which has a pro-Israel slant, and young people get their news from social media, which is more decentralized.
Also, I think it's a stretch to say that Republicans are moving towards groyperism just because they're becoming more anti-immigration and anti-Zionist. Those things are not the defining beliefs of the groypers. These guys are notorious for promoting Hitler, Jewish conspiracy theories, race-realism, anti-miscegenation, and autocracy. There's no sign at all that the GOP is going to be embracing any of that.
@ItsMe Agreed on most points, though the GOP is definitely leaning into conspiracy theories, Jewish and non-Jewish. Elon Musk has posted a bunch of stuff about George Soros.
