A friend has opened a game store for the Magic: The Gathering community in Ithaca, NY. (Announcement.) Right now it's just a Discord server, but they're hoping to get a website and physical location up soon.
This market resolves to YES if that organization is still in existence and at least somewhat active at the beginning of 2025. Otherwise this resolves to NO.
If the owners or store name change, but it's still clearly the same store, that counts. However if the owners and name change at the same time due to a sale and rebranding, that will count as a disbanding of the current store.
Definition of active:
If they have a physical location that is open to customers, that is active.
If they have a functioning website on which you can buy product, that is active.
If they have a discord server or other online community that gets at least 10 posts a month, that is active.
