Core Resolution Criteria

  1. Primary Attribution Rule

    The market resolves to the organization that developed the AI system that is most causally responsible for the extinction event.

  2. Successor / Self-Improvement Clause

    If the decisive system is:

    • autonomously derived,

    • self-improved,

    • or created by another AI,

    then attribution goes to the organization that created the last human-designed system in the causal chain that enabled this outcome.

  3. Multi-Agent Scenario

    If multiple AI systems jointly cause extinction:

    • Resolve to all organizations whose systems were necessary contributors.

  4. Forking / Derivatives

    If a system is derived from an earlier model:

    • Attribution goes to the organization responsible for the final system that materially enabled extinction, not necessarily the original base model.

  5. Human Use vs Autonomous Action

    If AI is used as a tool by humans:

    • Attribution still goes to the organization that built the AI system (not the end user), unless the AI played only a trivial role.

@4fa many.

@IhorKendiukhov Could you change "organization" to "organizations" in the title? ☺️

@4fa done.
