It only has to be on at least one persons profit and loss.

Resolution criteria

  • This market will resolve to YES if, on or before December 31, 2027, Manifold officially launches at least one perpetual market ("perp") where the underlying oracle or index tracked is the profit and loss (P&L), net profit, or total earnings of at least one specific Manifold trader.

  • To qualify, the market must be a perpetual style contract (featuring continuous trading, leverage, or funding rates) hosted officially on Manifold.

  • A standard binary or multi-choice prediction market resolving to a user's profit at a specific point in time does not count; it must be an active perpetual market.

  • If no such perpetual market is launched by 11:59 PM UTC on December 31, 2027, this market will resolve to NO.

This is a pretty worthless idea that wouldn't improve the site at all. So the likelihood is rather high

huh can't you just bet heavily against them in markets with low liquidty to reduce their net profit

and profit from your high leverage position in the perp...

@bobalobascrob this seems possible. But the same incentives exist for them and for other traders on the perp.

It may not be the best idea to do this but it’d be fun if they made it work.
