Resolution criteria

• Resolves YES if the club officially listed by CONCACAF as the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup champion is a Mexican club (affiliated with the Mexican Football Federation/Liga MX). Otherwise NO. Verify via CONCACAF’s Champions Cup site and/or the 2026 tournament page. If no champion is declared by December 31, 2026, resolves N/A.

Background

• The CONCACAF Champions Cup is the region’s top men’s club competition (rebranded from “Champions League” in 2024). It uses two‑leg ties until a single‑match final

• The 2026 edition is scheduled for February 3–May 30, 2026 (subject to change).

• Recent winners: 2024 Pachuca (MEX); 2025 Cruz Azul (MEX).

Considerations

• The final is hosted by the higher‑seed finalist, which has recently produced Mexico‑hosted finals (Pachuca 2024; Cruz Azul 2025). This home‑field edge can matter.
