Immigration and asylum policy are rapidly becoming important issues in Irish politics. Will the next Irish Government include any parties or independents that take a hard(er) line on migration? "Hard line" here means being in favor of policies to reduce immigration, legal or illegal.
Anti-migrant parties/independents that are involved in a coalition or confidence and supply agreement with the Government will count. Existing parties, even those not formerly known for anti-immigrant platforms, will count as long as they campaign on an anti-immigrant platform in 2024.
Note that this only includes the Republic, not Northern Ireland.
Edit 4/Dec./2024: Updating to reflect the fact that the election happened in 2024, not 2025.
