Either planned or not. Someone will be shot with a weapon. Gun, laser, railgun, bow, or similar including adhoc would count. Must be intentional. Shooter can be via remote or autonomous ai or alien or accidental. Person being shot must be human. No need for fatality but there does need to be some physical injury.

Either space or another planet (not on earth)

Planes flying above earth don't count unless in zero g

Rockets do count as long as they've launched (not sitting on the surface of Earth) whether or not they have gravity. Space stations count.
