Donald Trump stated that he will not re-appoint Jerome Powell.
However, Herman Cain, Stephen Moore, and Judy Shelton, who Trump tried to nominate before him, were all blocked. Who can Trump get through Congress? Will Trump have to compromise again?
Here are some initial rumors of who could be appointed. Feel free to enter in new nominees or suggest feedback!
RESOLUTION CRITERIA:
This bet resolves when the Federal Reserve website updates the Federal Reserve Chair. If the Federal Reserve is abolished or the title of chair is removed from the Federal Reserve, the market will resolve "No More Chairs."
This market will only resolve once, so if Trump nominates someone but abolishes the Fed a week later, the market will only resolve for that Chair and will not resolve for "No More Chairs."
If Trump does not win the election, the market will resolve N/A
I will try to keep dates and won’t bet
EDIT: If none of the above happens, all options will resolve to NO
@EricZhu Does this refer to Herman Cain, the former chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and former co-chair of Black Voices for Trump who died of Covid in July 2020, or someone else?
