Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to the university that occupies the #1 spot in the overall global QS World University Rankings 2027, scheduled to be released on June 18, 2026.
Source of Truth: The rankings will be verified via the official QS TopUniversities World University Rankings portal.
Edge Cases & Rules:
Delays: If the release is delayed, the market will remain open until the official rankings are published. If no rankings are published by December 31, 2026, the market will resolve N/A.
Ties: If two or more universities share the #1 spot (e.g., a tie for rank "1="), the market will resolve to the university with the higher precise overall score if displayed. If they remain perfectly tied, the market will resolve to the tied university that is alphabetically first by its official English name.
"Other" Option: If any university not explicitly listed as an option tops the rankings, the market will resolve to "Other" (automatically managed by the platform).
