This market resolves to NO if no such legislation is enacted into federal law by the end of the second Trump administration.

Background
The Nurture Originals, Foster Art, and Keep Entertainment Safe (NO FAKES) Act is bipartisan federal legislation aimed at establishing a licensable federal property right protecting individuals' voices and visual likenesses from unauthorized AI-generated digital replicas ("deepfakes"). Originally introduced in draft form in 2023, revised versions of the bill have gained bipartisan momentum in Congress. Supporters include civil rights groups, creative industry bodies like SAG-AFTRA and the Recording Academy, and major tech companies, while opponents and digital rights groups have raised concerns regarding potential First Amendment and fair-use implications.
