Background

Originally founded in 1998, Google underwent a major corporate restructuring in 2015 that established Alphabet Inc. as the parent holding company, with Google LLC operating as its primary subsidiary. Over the multi-decade horizon leading to 2050, potential drivers of change include major technological shifts (such as generative AI), antitrust-driven corporate breakups, or standard corporate rebranding and restructuring. This market tracks whether the corporate entity or its flagship consumer-facing brand survives these long-term shifts.
