Based on my understanding in 2040 of what sleep does. E.g. If we discover that brains backpropagate during sleep, this would resolve yes (I don't think brains backpropagate during sleep).

20 on YES just because virtually every biological creature has evolved some kind of sleep analogue. I have a hunch that AI will need to do the something similar. A hunch that's based on virtually nothing but a hunch none-the-less.
