The Liberal-National Coalition is over for the second time in less than 12 months, this time over hate crimes legislation, with Nationals leader David Littleproud declaring it "untenable" after Liberal leader Sussan Ley stared down the Liberals' minor partner. Based on the parliamentary calendar, Federal Parliament will next sit on February 3rd.
#### Resolution criteria
The market resolves YES if the Liberal and National parties announce a renewed Coalition agreement before Parliament resumes sitting on February 3rd. The market resolves NO if Parliament sits on 3 February 2026 without a Coalition agreement having been announced.
