This market resolves YES if, before the start of Brazil's first-round election on October 4, 2026, the United States officially designates at least one Brazilian individual under the Global Magnitsky sanctions program (GLOMAG).
A re-designation of an individual previously sanctioned and later removed — including Alexandre de Moraes or Viviane Barci de Moraes — counts as YES.
The designation must be officially announced or reflected by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Visa restrictions, diplomatic measures, tariffs, sanctions under other U.S. sanctions programs, or sanctions targeting only companies/entities do not count.
If no Brazilian individual is designated under GLOMAG before the beginning of voting on October 4, 2026, the market resolves NO.
