@YoavTzfati It gives an idea of what interest rate return bettors want for their Mana being tied up. Presumably bettors should want a higher return if they cannot trade out of their position if they see something better to invest in. 2% return for being tied up for 3 months doesn't seem like much to me but if you just want to demonstrate you can make trading profits and don't mind waiting and/or have lots of mana that you don't have time to invest for a better return.
Knowing this may help evaluate what is going on in other markets.
