Do I have functionally perfect pitch?

NO

I have good relative pitch, so it suffices for me to be able to remember any note correctly.

Over the next few days, I will at some arbitrary intervals sing a note and claim what that note is (e.g., "this is an F#"). I'll do this ten times, separated by a few hours, so I can't remember the previous note. Resolves YES if I get at most one wrong; that is, 9/10 or better.

@brubsby can anki give you audio in the prompt or answer?

predicted YES

@Abraxas yep! it auto-plays it by default, very useful for learning IPA

@brubsby whoa, this is an interesting idea

As someone with perfect pitch, if you get a note wrong, you don't have perfect pitch (rather, really really good relative pitch).

@8 Hence “functionally”
