Arrival (2016) has drama, intensity and mystery mixed in with absolute wonder and awe. There’s a plot twist which you might avoid googling, if you’d rather experience it first hand!

Let me give you a list from each of yours

Movies that I think are excellent:
Inception

I would say Memento was Nolan’s closest movie to Inception. This is my favorite movie of all time, and nothing else’s really tickled me the same way.

The Prestige

I’ll recommend Amadeus here. You get a similar dynamic of two people trying to one-up one another. This movie was also released alongside The Illusionist, which while not nearly as good, is still somewhat worth a watch.

If you want more magic movies, I also really thought the Now You See Me movies were ok. The first was better than the second.

Barbie

This was a fairly singular movie, but Wes Anderson’s movies have similarly fully developed world’s. The Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom are my favorites of his, but all of his movies are great. He’s also made some shorts based Roald Dahl stories which are on Netflix.

Oppenheimer

Amadeus is fairly similar to Oppenheimer in some ways. In terms of epic biopics, The Social Network also ranks near the top of my list. Great music, cool story, all-around fantastic movie.

Your Name

When it comes to Japanese animation, Spirited Away will always be my first recommendation. I adore that movie. Really any Miyazaki will be worth your time. I’ve also heard the Suzume and Weathering With You, from the same director - Makoto Shinkai, are really good.

Alita: Battle Angel

Ok, this was James Cameron’s proving film to build the technology he used for Avatar: The Way of Water. So I guess you could watch that, though it’s not incredible (story-wise).

Of a similar vibe are, The Creator from last year, and Blade Runner (and 2049 too) is among the best of the genre! An older one, but iRobot with Will Smith is still great!

Lmk if you’ve seen any of these and I’ll swap it out

my favorite movie is trainspotting - a movie about the lives of four heroin addicts in 1980s scotland. it has a great soundtrack and pretty snappy directing. it's a lot less depressing than it sounds.

Everything from the IMDB top 100 that I have seen, thought was really good, and intuitively seemed to match some of the themes of the movies you mentioned that I'd seen:
