There are currently 6 options being considered: 3 that involve tunneling a subway from UCLA to the San Fernando Valley, and 2 that involve a mostly above-ground monorail along the 405. There were originally 6 options, but "Alternative 2" has already been eliminated.
Under CEQA, LA Metro also has to study a no-build options, which would mean the project doesn't go ahead.

If an alternative hasn't been chosen by the close date, I'll extend.

@elderlyunfoldreason I'm leaning toward resolving to alternative 5 because the chosen alternative is described as a modified alt 5. However, there's an argument to be made that alt 6 is also valid because the modified alt 5 incorporates parts of alt 6.
Any strong opinions on whether I should resolve to just alt 5 vs. alt 5 AND alt 6?
@zQ4Z82W The characteristics you described for alt 5
> automated heavy rail under the Santa Monica mountains, underground in the Valley
most closely match what was chosen.
Whereas alt 6's do not:
> driver-operated heavy rail under the Santa Monica mountains, underground in the Valley
So if this was my market I would just do alt 5.
