Comments are open, I thank you for your suggestions for the coming year…
Who would you like to see as a Conversations with Tyler guest? - Marginal REVOLUTION
I selected 20 proposed people at random, you can add more.
The ones that will be selected in 2026 will resolve to YES.
Update 2026-01-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Resolution timing: The creator will resolve answers to YES shortly after Tyler Cowen posts about inviting a guest (as indicated by posts like "What should I ask [Guest Name]?"), rather than waiting until later, to prevent trading after the outcome is already known.
Update 2026-01-23 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): After-the-fact predictions: Candidates added after Tyler Cowen has already posted about inviting them will be resolved to N/A.
Update 2026-03-25 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Katja Hoyer has been invited by Tyler Cowen ("What should I ask Katja Hoyer?") but was not on the market's list, so no answer for her will be added or resolved YES.
Update 2026-05-27 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Richard Hanania has been invited by Tyler Cowen ("What should I ask Richard Hanania?") but was not on the market's list, so no answer for him will be added or resolved YES.
Update 2026-06-03 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Martha Nussbaum was initially resolved YES but will be un-resolved because she declined to do the podcast after all. This answer will not resolve YES.
Update 2026-06-07 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Martha Nussbaum will be un-resolved from YES because she declined to do the podcast after accepting the invitation. This answer will not resolve YES.

@mods Could you change the Martha Nussbaum resolution from YES to NO? She cancelled the invitation. Or unresolve so I can set it to NO myself?
@MaxA Technically you're correct. I didn't forsee this and it might be a first for TC too.
But subjectively this feels correct, and may even make it more fun. (Just like wrong referee decisions are part of the soccer game.)
@mods the author seems to be acknowledging that they’ve made a wrong resolution and is happy with that. That's not how things should work here.
@MaxA I mean the previous resolution was wrong and this one is correct. This is an unexpected turn of events for everyone, including me. I consider that more fun.
@MachiNi The author is Martha C. Nussbaum, and the subtitle is Opera & Political Freedom. Martha decided she did not wish to do a podcast after all,
Struggling to unresolve ...
Answer was resolved more than 10 minutes ago.
Maybe impossible?
@uair01 you need a mod but I’m now realizing she was invited. For some reason I had assumed recording an episode was required but maybe not? In which case you don’t need to un-resolve.
Richard Hanania, not on the list:
