Rivian plans to announce their new lower cost vehicle, the R2, on March 7.
This will resolve based on the range announced in the March 7 reveal. If no range is announced March 7, this will resolve when one is first announced.

@tr I don't think this was resolved correctly. In this interview with the CEO, the range of the cheapest model R2 was clearly stated as being less than 300 miles:

@jacksonpolack This is tough - it turns out the cheapest version does have less than 300 range, but the resolution criteria is that this will resolve based on range announced at the reveal. I don’t consider the interview to be part of the reveal, so imo the resolution is still correct on the technicality. Wish I had anticipated this and written better criteria. For context, I bet no on this.
@tr I'll be honest, I haven't watched the reveal myself. If they omitted the info about base price having a smaller battery pack (and it sounds like they did) than I'm okay with your resolution. It feels like typical marketing tricks, but that's on Rivian and not due to a mis-interpretation of the reveal event.
Also, it's a small amount of play money. It's no big deal either way, and it feels like everything was done in good faith. My preference is to leave it resolved as YES.
@DanHomerick I watched the reveal and they really only said all motor combinations will achieve 300+ miles. It seems they at least omitted mentioning a motor and battery combo that gets less than 300.
As the highest profit trader in this betting on yes with the reveal info, I’m OK with this moving to No resolution.
@jacksonpolack I don't think I can change the resolution at this point, but no objections if you do want to reverse it as a mod.
