This market will resolve to YES if, by January 1st, 2027 (Japan Standard Time), the One Piece manga officially introduces a new transformation for Monkey D. Luffy that meets at least one of the following criteria:
Explicit Naming: The form is explicitly referred to as "Gear 6" (or "Gear Sixth") in the dialogue or narrator boxes.
Next Stage Evolution: Luffy achieves a new named physical form that is presented as the definitive successor or "next step" beyond Gear 5 (Nika).
Form Change: A transformation that significantly alters Luffy's physical appearance (similar to the jumps between Gear 2, 3, 4, and 5).
This market will resolve to NO if:
Luffy only uses new attacks within the Gear 5/Nika framework (e.g., "Gum-Gum Dawn..." variants).
Luffy only gains Haki-related upgrades (e.g., Advanced Conqueror's Haki improvements) without a new "Gear" or physical transformation.
No such form is revealed by the end of the final chapter release of 2026.
