Recently Twitch announced they are ceasing operations in South Korea due to high costs from the country's Sending Party Network Pays (SPNP) tax. Netflix has also expressed concerns over the high costs they are facing there.
SPNP is a tax on software companies, which are required to pay ISPs a fee to deliver traffic to their end users. South Korea is the first and currently the only country to enact these SPNP laws. Both India and EU have expressed intentions to consider SPNP laws in the future.
