@strutheo I can't imagine there being much enforcement, and maybe any ban would be riddled with exceptions so large you could drive a minibus through them, but a small country like Ethiopia is exactly who I think will be the first to throw down with an "Eff it. Let's do this."
That the motivation isn't climate change but instead due to a wild import/export imbalance makes it all the more believable. Their actions won't solve climate change, but maybe it could fix their currency issues.
