Im not really sure since i havent looked into what that exactly is yet but it will depend on if i think its bad at the time (if i want to get such a vaccine i'll first see if i think it's ok)

I'd say buying for someone else only counts if I'm using my own money and not theirs.
Also re: knowledge, if you didn’t know at the time but find out later, is that retroactive?
