This market is about whether I will adhere to specific dietary rules until 31 December 2025. It serves as a commitment device to help me lose weight and improve my IBS and NAFLD. I successfully ran a similar market before.

Baseline Rule:
I must not buy the following food items:
Any drinks besides water, decaf coffee, and tea
Fast food
Sweets
Flour and baked goods, including pasta, except those made from buckwheat or spelt
High-fat dairy products, except pure yogurt or kefir
Red meat or sausages
Sugar, honey, or syrups
Sweet spreads
Cereals
Canned food
Limited Purchase Rule:
I may buy at most one of each of the following food items per week:
Flour or baked goods (only buckwheat or spelt)
2 oranges
2 medium high-sugar fruits, one large high-sugar fruit, or one glass of applesauce (no added sugar)
Light cheese
Dark chocolate (85% or higher cocoa content)
Exemptions:
No rules apply on one day of each calendar month.
No rules apply when inviting someone for dinner or buying food items for others.
While using the Cara Care app, I may deviate from the rules if necessary for the program.
Additional Notes:
I may add new restricted items but cannot remove existing ones.
If I fail to adhere to the rules even once, the resolution is NO.
I will not bet on this market.
@redcat Quick clarification question.
I must at most buy one of each of the following food items per week:
"At most," as I personally understand that phrase in this context, means that achieving 0 to 1 bullet point in the time frame is a success. Achieving 2 or more in the time frame is a miss.
This does not seem to be what the goal aught to be. Did you mean to say "at least"?
I am now a biased stakeholder of YES, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I don't think traders would be too upset if you updated this wording. That being said, traders should speak up if they disagree with what I think.
@Quroe The goal is that I don't buy more than one single item or set of items (in the case of oranges), per bullet point, per week. If I don't buy any of them it's totally fine. The problem I'm trying to solve here is that I otherwise tend to, for example, buy a large net of oranges and eat them all in a day.
So the phrasing is correct, right? I'm not a native speaker btw.
