I am visiting the Seattle area for 6 days in mid-September. I will be in Seattle for a day or two and am planning to go to the mountain 1 day as long as the weather isn't horrific. Apparently you can see it from Seattle on a clear day but cannot see it even while on the mountain on cloudy/foggy days. Seattle has notoriously rainy weather, so I'm a little worried I may not see it at all.
