This market will resolve to “Yes” if OpenAI officially releases a web browser (a standalone browser application, or a browser product branded as such) on or before October 31, 2025, 11:59 PM PT. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”.
Clarifications
A “browser” means software that enables general-purpose web navigation, similar to Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
Browser-like integrations limited to existing apps (e.g., in-app webviews, plugins, or AI assistants embedded in third-party browsers) do not qualify.
“Release” requires public availability for download or use in the U.S. (beta versions count if they are broadly available without special invite restrictions).
Resolution Source
The primary resolution source will be OpenAI’s official announcements and product pages.
Secondary confirmation may come from a consensus of reporting by credible technology news outlets.
