MrBeast is raising $40M to provide 2 million people with clean water for decades.
This market will resolve to “Yes” if $40,000,000 is raised by August 31, 2025, 11:59 PM PT. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No.”
Resolution Source:
The primary resolution source will be the “Years of Water Supplied” figure on teamwater.org.
Conversion Rule:
According to the site, $1 = 1 year of water supplied. Therefore, once the counter reaches 40,000,000 years, this market resolves to “Yes.”
Update 2025-08-29 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - If data from teamwater.org is unavailable due to a DDoS/technical issue, other credible sources may be used only if:
MrBeast publicly confirms the DDoS/technical issue (e.g., written statement or tweet), and
There is proof of funds showing at least $40,000,000 raised by Aug 31, 2025, 11:59 PM PT.
A statement without proof of funds will resolve to No.

@TheAllMemeingEye I don’t think it will be as effective or efficient as they claim. The politicians of those countries where the water will be provided will most probably stomach 75% of the donations. I was born in a third world country and I’ve seen this happening again and again.
@121 yes! calling all our devs for an emergency weekend meeting. One of our key dev Mr. Soham Parekh is organizing the a perfect execution of DDoS. He had bet $50 on NO 🤣

@predyx_markets Probably. Still depends on whether the organizers are determined to make sure that the $40M mark is reached on time. Organic donations look like they'd still be a few $100K short of the mark. But MrBeast himself could easily just decide to put the remaining amount in himself at 5 minutes to midnight, or what have you.
@predyx_markets That entry point though 😭
At least I bought my 'NO' around 95%, fair odds to hope for a glitch, miscalculation, or secret plan that actually wraps things up on Sep 1
@121 any sophisticated charity drive with a published target has already lined up pledges assuring success. The target is chosen based on the pre-public knowledge. It would be very surprising if a venture this large published a goal and didn't hit it. That's the nature of the game.
@Eliza I don’t agree? Eg you could have made thousands betting on the target being hit on polymarket throughout the month
