I don't get why people don't believe an 8th grader can't be in Manifold, it's unusual but very much within the realm of possibility. My nephew is in the 5th grade and he's in Manifold as well, even if not very active (he's also not a rat). The emails seem real to me.

@realDonaldTrump No not at all. Just a slight difference. Private school kids also tend to be a year or so ahead (sometimes) so if anything that's a good thing.

@Bandors When I was in 8th grade (~20 years ago), I sold web hosting online and LARP’d as an adult on the WebHostingChat forums discussing the business. Among many other mostly half-baked ventures. All of this to say—I believe some 8th graders are amongst us here.
