This organization claims that balding is linked to scalp inflammation caused by chronic muscle tension beneath the skin. They argue that Botox can weaken these muscles and relax the tension, so that the hair follicles stay intact for longer. Their explainer sure seems thorough, but this field is infamous for snake oil. So YMMV.
