Resolved
NO
In a surprise U-turn, European Council President Charles Michel said on Friday (26 January) that he has decided to withdraw his EU elections candidacy and was planning to complete his mandate. (source)

Michel plans to take up his seat in the European Parliament mid-July if he’s elected, meaning EU leaders will have to agree quickly on a successor for his vacated Council post. If they don’t, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whose country will take over the rotating presidency of the Council of the EU in July, would lead the meetings — a broker-role normally undertaken by the European Council president. –Politico

Resolves YES when Viktor Orbán becomes European Council President after Charles Michel following the EU election.

Resolves NO if Michel is not elected into the parliament and announces to stay as Council President. Also, NO if anybody but Orbán is chosen as Council President.

Close date might be extended if the council takes longer to decide (are there deadlines?) or if formalities require a little more time.
