"Eastern Europe" defined as from a member state that joined after 2003, so including Malta, Cyprus, Czechia and Slovenia who may not archetypically be referred to as Eastern Europe.
Resolution criteria
This question will resolve yes, if before 2031 there is a new commission president is a member of a political party from any of the following countries: Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania
If they are not a member of any political party from a individual state this question will resolve depending on their citizenship(s)
If there is no new commission president or the new commission president is not from any of the previously mentioned countries this question will resolve no.
"Commission president" is defined as being inaugurated as the commission president of the European Union.
