Sam Bankman-Fried is on trial for fraud and other charges related to his running FTX. He's pled "not guilty" to all charges. On August 11th, his bail was revoked and he was sent to jail.
This question resolves to "Yes" if he pleads guilty to any charge(s), either ones he's already been charged with or new ones, before January 1st, 2025. Otherwise, it resolves to "No".
For clarification: a "no contest" / nolo contendere plea will resolve to "yes".
@StrayClimb I would resolve it to "Yes". While it's not technically a "guilty" plea, it practically is the same for sentencing, etc.
DOJ submitted 4 million pages of evidence. His lawyers have to be talking to him about a plea.
