Soon after midnight Amsterdam time, Feb 20, 2024, I'll user the supabase API to count up the number of users on manifold.love by gender. I will only include accounts created before midnight, November 5th. Each option in this market resolves to the percentage of total users that have selected that gender option.
These five gender options (male, female, trans-male, trans-female, and non-binary) are currently the only ones supported by manifold.love. In case others are added later, I've included an "Other" option.
If existing gender options are renamed, they'll count toward the existing option - I won't add new options to the question just because of a rename.

@Loop I think I agree; it seems very easy to say “cis male/female” (some people may not know what ‘cis’ means, but I don’t think it would be that much of an impediment), or add a separate category/ option to note if you’re cis/trans.
“transphobic af” is a harsh thing to say. I guess I don’t want to associate myself with that statement, but I don’t want to condemn it either. I don’t want to insult developers who might be overworked trying to make a good product and make mistakes. It does seem like they messed up, though, and that could make people feel excluded in a harmful way. Sorry for making this about me.
Doesn't seem like they're afraid of trans people, just kinda clueless as to what "trans" means. (Which is odd given that one of the Manifold devs is themselves trans; maybe that person wasn't involved?)
Lots of the signup questions are strange, it's not just the gender ones.
