@Ziddletwix it's about the upcoming Oscars in 2025. Although “movie released in ‘25, awarded Oscar in ‘26” would be a good market.

@jim I mean seems fine, the clip talks about winning an Oscar (or box office hit) next year. You can interpret that either way. There’s no chance a 2024 AI movie wins an Oscar (and tbh I think the odds are minuscule in 2024 as well) but it’s fair game to put their prediction in a market
@Ziddletwix There’s an “animated short” category at the Oscar’s that isn’t as competitive and is naturally a fit for this, which is why it isn’t impossible for a 2035 movie. Even if the quality skyrockets, I’d bet against the academy accepting it as worthwhile enough for an award. But at least at that point it’s a real posible thing to predict. (Basically zero chance in other categories)
