The AstralCodexTen discord is currently running a bracket to determine the best @ScottAlexander post from 2013 - the first year of the Slate Star Codex blog. The live tournament tracker is here, and links to all contenders can be accessed in the google sheet here.

There is one match on most weekdays, and two on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the schedule to be slowed for semi-finals and finals. Each match lasts for 24 hours or so.

The market will resolve when the final winner is officially announced. In the event of a tie all winners will be resolved "YES".

I've added what I think are the strongest contenders. Anyone is free to add add additional contenders, but contenders that are not in the google sheet will be marked N/A and I'll also N/A any duplicates.

@jenn This is finished, right? Can we get a resolve?

Mod-resolved most of the options to NA on Jenn's behalf as the contest apparently fizzled out right around the Round of 16 or so.

the discord polls fizzled out around halfway though the rounds 😭

you can see the showdown here: https://challonge.com/ssc10utaas

Well that's a little sad. Now I'm at least a little tempted to make one that doesn't fizzle.
