yeah so i just realized that around two weeks ago i worked on some optional problems on a math pset for school after 1am because i completely forgot this market existed

only the third day of the block and i worked straight up to 1am again, not a very good sign

update: i made it past block 1! (for those of y'all non-proofniks our blocks are like quarters but there's five of them in one school year)

It's been a while, I think we need a status update.

@Eliza i'm still going strong, though i worked straight up to 1am (like 5-10 seconds before the clock turned) a couple times

but i would say on the whole i've never had an experience where i needed to get anywhere close to 1am in order to finish imminently due hw

@ithildulin Do you have any large or long-term deadlines coming up soon that could require significant late night work?

@Eliza yes, this week is the due date for a lot of our stuff (our school operates in "blocks" - like quarters but there's five of them and this week is the end of the first)

so i'd say the highest risk of me going past 1am in the next two months or so is gonna be today or tomorrow

worked right up until 12:59:55 today, close call

@Conflux but if i had had this goal last year i probably could have rearranged my work/procrastinated less to finish schoolwork by 1am
