The split of Belgium between Flanders and Wallonia has been talked (and joked) about for ages. Even if there's a part of the population that supports this split, if they're Vlaams Belang or others, it won't happen. To make the decision to split would take years and years to be approved through the political system, because simply stated no one would come to an agreement. This is demonstrated with the inability to form a working government for the duration of 541 days.
