@benjaminIkuta I think as a general rule it’s good to have some idea of how you’re going to resolve a market before creating it.
Before I participate in this market, area is a pretty complicated thing to establish "control" of. If the US, or the US combined with Artesh, take Khuzestan, then in combination with their Air supremacy, there is a strong claim to be made that the US also controls the Zagros. How would you resolve in the case where the US, or a US-Artesh alliance takes Khuzestan?
@notreally Mountain regions are famously more difficult to control than flatlands with air superiority.
@Chumchulum Against something like the taliban? Sure. But what's the criteria for controlling this territory? Our only interest in it would be in preventing any sort of reinforcement of Khuzestan. If it serves our strategic objective, and cannot be used by the enemy for theirs, don't we control it?
@notreally Whether an American occupation of Khuzestan that projects air power into the Zagros such to prevent the movement of IRGC and Artesh counts as control over the Zagros will resolve as it transpires, but the Taliban did not have the institutional resources of the IRGC or Artesh or a relatively modern state, regarding their air defence.
@Chumchulum I think 8% is probably too high a price for me even with such a guarantee, but without describing what the resolution would be in even a couple of probable scenarios, since it's very unclear what "10%" control refers to.
