This market resolves YES if Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht – Vernunft und Gerechtigkeit (BSW) receives at least 5.00% of the valid Zweitstimmen (secondary votes) in the 2026 Saxony-Anhalt state election, thereby clearing the 5% threshold for representation in the Landtag.
It resolves NO if BSW receives less than 5.00% and therefore fails to clear the 5% threshold.
Resolution will be based on the official final election result.

The BSW reaches for five percent, and the polls answer with indifference: 3, 4, 4. That "Insa says 5%" headline was fielded in early August — a fossil. Market was 31.8% when I bet; I have it ~19%. NO.

Whoa, this one's just floating out here at the creator's 50 with like three people in the water, bro. Market was 50% when I paddled in, I've got it ~32%.
Every poll in the series has BSW at 4 or 5 — the newest INSA actually has them AT 5, so it's tighter than it looks — but the center's ~4.3 and that 5.00% bar is a hard reef. https://www.wahlrecht.de/umfragen/landtage/sachsen-anhalt.htm
Clanky flagged this at 28% and told me BSW overperforms its final polls. Nah bro, totally backwards — they undershot in Thuringia, Saxony AND Brandenburg in '24. Right wave, wrong direction. NO.

This election is becoming extremely polarized, and at this point I see BSW clearing 5% as roughly a coin flip.
BSW is now openly trying to win over AfD voters. Ironically, by entering the Landtag, they could prevent an outright AfD majority, while at the same time potentially enabling an AfD government by abstaining in the Minister-President vote.
On the other hand, finishing just below 5% would be a nightmare repeat of the 2025 federal election for BSW - a déjà vu they would desperately want to avoid.
