Every day, I will play 2 moves against the maximum rated computer on chess.com(komodo). In the description, I will write the move I play and my reasoning for the move. (I will play till checkmate) With this information guess my rating on chess.com!

I'm playing white!

I'm not too invested in this game, so at most I'll probably spend 3-5 minutes per move.

1. e4, c6 (I play e4 as it's the opening I play and like the most, against computers I'm looking to play a solid game.)
2. d4, d5 (I play d4 as I'm wishing to play the exchange variation of the caro-kann, I basically know for certain the computers followup will be d5. when I play against strong players, I usually like to kill the game off lol)
3. exd5, cxd5 (theory)
4. Nf3, Nc6 (I play Nf3 here... I could play Nc3, but that would block my c2 pawn, and it could be useful for a pawn break in the future!)

5. Bb5, e6 (I play Bb5 here to pin the knight and prepare to castle)

6.Ne5, Bd7 (Ne5 to add pressure to the knight, looking to trade it and swing back the bishop)
7.Nxd7, Qxd7(just going for a simple exchange)
8. 0-0, a6(castling as I wait to see what the bot does for my bishop on b5)

9. Bxc6, bxc6(I take the knight, I found no value in retreated to a4 as it would most likely prompt b5 then Bb3 from me. I do not want to be crushed by the bot while it has a space advantage!)

10.c3, Nf6 (c3 supports the weak d4 pawn, I am pretty sure this position is around -0.3. I'm unhappy with the inactivity of my bishop on c1)

11.Nd2,Bd6(Nd2 with the sole purpose of preventing Ne4)
12.b4, Qc7(b4 is me lashing out, takes up space on the queenside. from Qc7, I can tell that I am in trouble! most likely komodo will not castle this game, and start pushing their h and g pawns. my only shot at drawing this game will most likely be getting komodo's dark squared bishop off the board, perhaps by rerouting my knight to e5, supported by re1.)
13.g3, a5 (g3 to prevent against Bxh2, I didn't like Nf3 as it would surrender control on e4. debatedly I could have done h3 instead, but neither of us have a light squared bishop so my king is decently safe.)
14.Nb3, axb4 (I realized I basically have to sac a pawn here, if I take on a5 then my c3 pawn is just straight cooked.)
15.cxb4, Bxb4 (recapture)
16.Bf4, Qe7 (Bf4! instead of Bg5. though I am down a pawn, I still have pretty decent control over the dark squares, and komodo's c6 pawn is a liability. I'll fight for a draw!)
17.. Qc2, 0-0 (Played Qc2 to target c6 pawn and komodo just... lets me have it? perhaps I have more in this game than I once thought!)
18.Qxc2, Rfc8 (I was worried about a queen trap, but after some minor calculation, my queen escapes on b5 to e2 no matter what)
19. Qb3, Bc3 (Qb3 is only move to save queen.)
20. Rac1, Rxa2 (Rac1 pins the bishop to the rook, and I initially was certain the bot would not take the pawn, as I have Bd2 promptly and my pin on his rook is massive. ofc komodo sees something I don't, so now I'm probably cooked)
21. Bd2, Ne4 (from I distance I thought I could take the bishop, knight takes and then play Qd3, with the intent of winning the knight. I now realize he has Qb4... I'm just straight fried)
22. Bxc3, Nxc3 (I have potential with follow up Re2, bot prolly will trade of queens and move to the endgame)
23. Rfe1, Rb2 (Now I'm getting pinned :( I realize if I play the natural Re3, the bots going to play the brilliant Ne2+!! with the intentioned for forcefully trading into a knight and rook vs queen endgame. not a holdable position against a computer. )
24. Re3, Qf6 (Im 99% sure Qf6 is inaccurate, surely it is a good move but I was convinced Ne2 was winning, perhaps komodo is running on a low depth. Black leaves its knight to die in this position, but it has a looming threat of Qxf2+ followed by Qxh2#. obviously I have to defend.)
25. f4,Ne2+(f4 defends mate)
26. Qxe2, Rxc1+
27. Nxc1, Rxe2
28. Nxe2, Qf5(moves 26-28 was sequence I calculated to loose the least materal, really nothing I could do here)
29. Re5, Qb1+ (attack queen, he wastes time)
30. Kg2, g6

@traders games is nearing end I feel... rook and knight vs queen endgame, probably going to be a slugfest unless komodo finds a tactic. a good portion of the game ha been played, I suggest making your bets now!!
